Our Story
AI Autos started with pretty much nothing. We're building it on one simple goal: give Tesla owners an honest, affordable and ethical place to bring their car, with the best experience we can offer.
Hung La, Sales & Customer Care
Hung grew up around cars. His dad came to the U.S. as a Vietnamese refugee with $50 in his pocket and opened his own auto shop when Hung was 13. Hung learned early that a shop runs on hard work and trust. He then spent 15+ years as an account executive at Dell and VMware, explaining options clearly, quoting honestly and following through. Now he brings both of those to AI Autos, so you always know what's being done to your car and why.
Devin Dotson, EV Technician
Devin spent two years at Tesla's Gigafactory in Austin as a Level 3 end-of-line technician and team lead on the Model Y and Cybertruck, all while raising two kids. He completed Tesla's high-voltage training and handled battery pack swaps, high-voltage line work and electrical diagnostics. With 8+ years working on vehicles, he treats every Model 3 and Model Y in our bay the way he'd want his own family's car treated.

Questions & Answers
Do I get an estimate before you start?
Yes. Every car gets a video inspection first, so you see what we see. Your quote is then locked until the work is done, and our prices are posted online, so there are no surprises.
What if you find more damage once it is apart?
We stop, record it on video and send it to you before doing anything else. Nothing extra happens without your OK, and the work you already approved stays at the locked price.
Is the work guaranteed?
Yes. When we supply the part (Installed), it's covered by our parts warranty. If you bring your own part (Install Only), we charge labor only, and that part isn't covered by our warranty.
Are the parts new?
On Installed jobs we supply the part, and your quote spells out exactly which one. For tires and rims, we also offer quality used options, like Pirellis with more than 5/32" of tread, so you can choose what fits your budget.
How long will it take?
Most maintenance and common repairs are done the same visit. If a part has to be ordered, we tell you the lead time up front, before you book, not after your car is already here.
Can you collect my car?
We can come to you. Road Service is a $179 flat visit within 15 miles and includes a video inspection, a 12V battery test and a locked quote. If the repair needs the shop, we'll set it up with you.
Will using you affect my Tesla warranty?
No. Federal law (the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act) says a manufacturer can't void your warranty just because an independent shop did the work. Our EV tech is a former Tesla Gigafactory technician.
